Gazit Globe Israel, a subsidiary (75%) of Gazit Globe Ltd., is one of Israel‘s leading real estate companies in the field of city centers and local commercial centers.

The company acquires, promotes and develops existing commercial centers, in addition to purchasing land reserves in Israel for the development of future commercial centers.

Gazit Globe Israel believes that the target population‘s needs should be accurately recognized before the land has been purchased, after which the most appropriate location for the construction of a commercial center in that area should be pinpointed according to those needs.
If a commercial center already exists in an appropriate location and with apt land coverage the company examines its suitability and, if needed, generates a procedure for its redevelopment, which includes renovating the asset and altering its blend. Should research data and necessity point at a need for a commercial center in an area where one does not exist, the company will initiate planning and construction procedures for a new center, in keeping with the comprehensive plans of Israel‘s leading experts.

Gazit Globe Israel ownes 12 shopping centers in Israel with a total of approximately - 220,000 sq.m. of commercial space, with the construction of 4 additional centers in various planning stages, will hold Gazit Globe Israel 270,000 sq.m. of commercial space in Israel.

Gazit Globe Israel also expanded its activities to Eastern Europe and operates in Bulgaria and  Macedonia.  This includes 6 units of land development that their destiny establishment of commerce,  entertainment and office area includes About - 180,000 sqm.

Over the next few years, Gazit Globe Israel plans to own approximately 50 commercial centers in Israel and eastern Europe and to extend its operations into developing markets and additional strategic territories.
